Overview
First Impressions
Golden Palms House sits right on West Bay Street in the Love Beach area, and honestly, the location is what grabbed me first. This three-star property doesn’t try to be something it’s not — it’s a straightforward beachside spot that delivers exactly what couples are looking for without any pretense. The moment you pull up, there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the place that immediately puts you at ease. The welcoming atmosphere and genuine hospitality set the tone for your entire stay at this charming beachfront destination.
Location & Neighborhood
Love Beach is one of those Nassau gems that locals actually know about, which means you’re not stuck in the typical tourist bubble. You’re close enough to Cable Beach’s action when you want it, but far enough away that you can actually hear the waves at night. The free parking on-site is a genuine blessing — I mean, anyone who’s tried to park near Nassau’s popular beaches knows what a headache that can be. West Bay Street gives you easy access to the rest of the island, and you’ll find yourself perfectly positioned for both beach days and exploring the city. The neighborhood offers an authentic slice of Bahamian life without sacrificing convenience.
The Accommodations
The rooms here are comfortable without being fancy, which honestly works perfectly for a beach getaway. You know what I appreciated most? The practical touches that show someone actually thought about what guests need. The spaces feel lived-in rather than sterile, and there’s enough room to spread out your beach gear without tripping over everything. It’s clear why couples rate this place so highly — there’s an intimate, relaxed vibe that makes it easy to unwind together. Each apartment is thoughtfully designed with the guest experience in mind.
Breakfast & Amenities
The continental breakfast gets the job done, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want. Nothing too elaborate, but you’ll find what you need to fuel up before hitting the beach or heading out to explore Nassau. I actually liked that it wasn’t overly complicated — fresh fruit, pastries, coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around all morning. The whole setup feels more like staying at a well-run guesthouse than a corporate hotel, which adds to the personal atmosphere. The kitchen facilities are available for guests who prefer to prepare their own meals.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets Golden Palms House apart is how it nails the fundamentals without any unnecessary frills. The beach access is genuine, the location puts you in a real Bahamian neighborhood, and the whole experience feels authentic rather than manufactured. Couples keep coming back because it strikes that perfect balance — comfortable enough to relax completely, but connected enough to the local scene that you feel like you’re actually experiencing Nassau rather than just visiting a resort bubble. For the price point and the genuine beachside location, it delivers exactly what it promises. This upscale beachfront property represents exceptional value for discerning travelers.

Guest Reviews
Breakfast was filling. It was a $20 shuttle or $25 ride to the airport. It seemed like a lot for an 8 minute ride. Love Beach was pretty much across the street, so it was easy to walk to. It was about a 1 mile strip of beach.
We liked the colonial feel to the property and the fact that breakfast was included. The people were very nice and very helpful. The shuttle to and from the airport was very helpful.
Good breakfast
The location, the quiet after two hours of drilling next door said they were putting in a a/c unit.
